UBER DRIVER FACES TEST CASE IN MELBOURNE

As reported in the Herald Sun yesterday, former manager of Down Under rock groups Split Enz and Men at Work, Nathan Brenner has been snared in a test case legal battle that could bring the death knell for ride sharing service Uber.

The "Rock identity was one of 13 Uber drivers charged by the Taxi Services Commission with operating a commercial passenger vehicle without a license after being caught in a sting operation last August".

Several taxi drivers showed up at court to show their "(anger) that Uber is cutting their market"

Melbourne Uber drivers please note that the hearing was adjourned until the 20th of July at the Melbourne Magistrates Court. Why not show Nathan your support by showing up for the case? You might just be in the neighbourhood.

This is a test case that will set future precident for all Uber drivers. Stand up and show your support.
